In today’s music world, success is often measured by one thing: streams.
Artists are encouraged to chase numbers, run endless marketing campaigns, and try to trigger the algorithm in the hope that a song might go viral for a moment.

But after stepping back and watching how the system actually works, I realised something important.

Streams are attention.
Attention is temporary.

And temporary attention rarely builds anything lasting.

Many artists spend enormous energy pushing songs into playlists, running ads, and trying to drive traffic. Sometimes the numbers look impressive for a short period of time, but the financial reality is very different. A spike in streams can generate thousands of plays and still return almost nothing in revenue.

So I decided to take a different approach.

Instead of chasing attention, I started building a catalogue with a purpose.

The Fitness Ritual series was designed as something more practical than a typical album release. Each project is structured like a training session — warm-up, main activity, and cool-down — creating a complete soundtrack for movement. The idea is simple: music that people can actually use while they train, walk, run, focus, or push through difficult moments.

Rather than promoting one track at a time, the goal is to create a growing library of music that supports discipline, motivation, and personal progress.

Alongside the albums, I also launched Fitness Ritual Radio, a station that streams the music continuously. It’s another way for listeners to experience the project — not as individual songs competing for attention, but as a long-form environment for movement and focus.

This approach is slower than chasing viral moments. Growth happens gradually, one listener at a time, often in unexpected places. But that’s part of the philosophy.

The mission isn’t to win the algorithm.

The mission is to build something that lasts.

April Update: Moving from Continuous Play to Structured Flow

Fitness Ritual Radio was launched on the 20th/November/2025.

Over the past three months, Fitness Ritual Radio has been running in its purest form — a continuous, uninterrupted stream of music designed to support movement, focus, and routine.

This phase has been intentional.

It allowed the station to establish a baseline: how the music flows, how long listeners stay, and how the overall experience feels without interruption. In many ways, this was the foundation — quiet, consistent, and necessary.

Now, as we enter April 2026 and move into our second quarter, the station begins its next stage.

Introducing Light Programming

Fitness Ritual Radio will begin introducing a light layer of structure into the broadcast.

This will include:

  • Subtle transitions between key parts of the day
  • Occasional DJ-led segments to guide energy and pacing
  • The introduction of original station jingles
  • Limited, carefully placed messages to highlight our shop and services

This is not a shift away from the core experience.

The goal remains the same: uninterrupted focus and rhythm.

Instead, this is about refinement — adding just enough structure to enhance the flow without breaking it.

Expanding Our Reach
